SEBASTIANO GRANETTO
Mr. Granetto is the CEO, Partner, and Director of Simplex & Xtra, as well as a Populous consultant, leading façade teams in delivering some of the most iconic high-profile projects worldwide. With over 20 years of experience, he has played a key role in the design and execution of high-rise buildings, shopping malls, offices, hotels, residential, and educational projects He gain experience working on iconic project around the world designed by renowned firms such as Simplex, Populous, Nikken Sekkei, SOM, MCA, MDL, Cino Zucchi, Morphosis, and Tortato Architetti. Holding leadership roles he brings strong project management expertise, ensuring the success of complex international projects through strategic planning, coordination, and technical excellence.
FRANCESCA ATTOLINI
With over 30 years of experience in architecture, interior design, product design, and exhibition design, she has participated in national and international competitions before focusing primarily on design and interior projects, developing works in the hospitality industry and
planning beach resort structures both in Italy (Forte dei Marmi) and abroad. In particular, she has focused on the selection and use of materials for coverings, ranging from wood to metals, stones, paints, and fabrics. Over the years, her experience has expanded to include the integration of spatial design with customer service elements, collaborating with international art galleries to foster a dialogue between architecture and art, in a continuous exchange between container and content.
BARBARA GOLTERMANN
With over 20 years of experience, Barbara Goltermann began her career in Italy, designing luxury fashion showrooms and collaborating with renowned architecture and interior firms. She specialized in high-end villas for VIP clients in Kazakhstan, London, and California, focusing on design concepts, space planning, FF&E, lighting, and custom furniture. Over 10 years ago, she moved to Malaysia, working with Sebastiano Granetto before founding her own studio. She has designed award-winning high-end condominiums and residential projects, creating immersive environments that harmonize with architecture and landscaping, ensuring quality execution within budget through strategic collaboration and oversight.
EMANUELE BANFI
Emanuele Banfi is the Technical Director, Partner, and BIM Manager at Simplex & Xtra, with ICMQ certification and over 15 years of experience in project development. He has mastered detailing through work on Renzo Piano projects, as well as working on Nikken Sekkei, SOM, MCA, MDL, Cino Zucchi, Morphosis, and Tortato Architetti projects. Specializing in BIM methodology, he has led complex international projects from schematic design to construction. He played a key role in establishing Simplex’s Milan office, setting BIM standards, and optimizing workflows. At Xtra, he developed team management skills, ensuring seamless coordination across disciplines and high-quality BIM implementation tailored to international and Italian client needs.
